HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT JUVEDERM?
Although Restylane is currently the world’s leading product for filling in wrinkles and facial lines, Juvederm is a very similar product that was FDA approved in February 2007. Both are made of hyaluronic acids, which naturally occur in every cell of all living things. Both of these have made collagen obsolete since there is no incidence of allergic reactions and the product lasts about twice as long as collagen. The safety profiles of these products are extraordinary. Although Restylane is currently the workhorse of facial filling agents, Juvederm has the ability to fill in finer lines and may prove to last slightly longer than Restylane, although this is not yet proven.
